Welcome

The Coral Reef Targeted Research & Capacity Building for Management (CRTR) Program (2004-2009) was an international coral reef research initiative that provided a coordinated approach to credible, factual and scientifically-proven knowledge for improved coral reef management.

A range of resources summarising knowledge gained and lessons learned was developed by the CRTR program for reef researchers, managers and policy makers. To access these resources, visit Publications  and Tools or visit www.ccres.net

Building on the knowledge gained in the CRTR program and extending into new areas, Phase Two of the program – Capturing Coral Reef and Related Ecosystem Services (CCRES) – has now commenced.

CCRES seeks to unlock the natural wealth of coastlines in the East Asia-Pacific region, in order to enhance livelihoods and food security; improve community health and wellbeing; and sustain coastal ecosystems in the region. For more information, visit www.ccres.net or subscribe for program newsletters and updates.
