Coral Reef Targeted Research: Remediation Working Group

For reef remediation/restoration efforts to be successful causes of reef degradation should first be identified and parallel attempts made at mitigating them. In addition, remediation/restoration should be implemented only in areas that are under some effective form of management.

The working group will examine three aspects of reef remediation/restoration:
A. Substratum Modification Including Artificial Structures
B. Larval Recruitment
C. Transplantation Of Corals
